Jill Nathanson is a New York-based abstract painter. Born and raised in New York, she attended Bennington College in the 1970’s where she learned painting ideas and practices from Color Field Painters on faculty or visiting. Over the many decades since then, her paintings continue to develop the possibilities of color-as-light- construction and expression in a very different time.
